The needs of people with disabilities mirror the needs of people in the general community and routinely need many of the services that other state agencies provide to people without disabilities. While New Avenues provides Support Coordination services that address living with a disability, we recognize that people with disabilities may need the same services that all residents have a right to receive, such as educational services, medical services, mental health services, social services, public health services, housing and other services.

Additionally, people with disabilities may need unique, specialized services provided by various disability experts. New Avenues’ services will help you choose services that will supplement and enhance, not replace, provided by other organizations and agencies.
 
A person with disabilities receiving services from New Avenues will have support through an individual-centered approach. We will establish, monitor, individualize a comprehensive and practical service plan for each individual we serve.
